Routines for Babies

My Baby Day Chart helping mums create an easy, flexible routine.....

How quickly a baby changes! Their sleep times, feed times and ability to 'play' are constantly evolving. When I first brought my children home from hospital I would write endless notes about what routine we were up to! Were the feeds 3 hourly, or 4 hourly, or were we already introducing solids?

With the introduction of the Baby Day Routine (magnetic routine chart with magnet activity-stickers) all those scraps of paper with notes of our routine are no longer needed! We now have a very visual schedule of what was 'typical' for our day and the flexibility to alter it quickly if the day wasn't working out as planned.

The other positive to this visual routine is that now, when dad comes home from work he canvery quickly see where we were up to in the routine and pitch in. Visitors who came to lend a helping hand, also had the ability to work out what was required of the baby, no more miscommunication!

Not only does this chart work brilliantly for mum who is suffering pregnant brain and can't remember where she is up to, but this product grows with the child into the toddler years!

Creating a visual routine for a child, that a child can interpret. This is creating clear expectations and boundaries to a child reducing tantrums and frustration and allowing mum to cross of all those items on her to-do list...... but more about the My Day Chart in another post.
